To 0.05 mmol poly(L-lysine) dendrigraft dissolved in dry DMF (20 mL), a DMF solution (10 mL) containing 0.66, 1.32, 1.98 or 2.64 mmol 1H-pyrazole-1-carboxamidine
hydrochloride and 0.66, 1.32, 1.98 or 2.64 mmol DIPEA, respectively, was added dropwise. The mixture was allowed to react for 24 h under argon. Subsequently, the solution was concentrated by solvent distillation under reduced pressure and the product was precipitated with diethyl ether. The crude product was dissolved in water and was subjected to dialysis (mol. weight cutoff: 1200) to remove by-products.
