Remove nuclease

I used to use streptomycin to eliminate nucleic acids from my proteins extracts. I usually precipitate the crude extract with streptomaycin at 4 C, then I centrifuge at 12,000 rpm. Then using chromatrography you can elimininate the streptomycin or just with a desalting column,

use heparin-Sepharose affinity chromatography
